Contract Period: June 1, 2007 - December 31, 2009.

This contract does NOT apply to campus moves (moving of campus property).

Contract services are available to all University of Minnesota employees and retirees. If the move is reimbursable by the University, the contract vendor will invoice the transferee's department. If the move is not reimbursable by the University, payment is on a COD basis. Moving agent will supply pre-moving information packets to each transferee. Home finding and apartment rental services are also available from companies associated with the moving agent's partnering programs.

Another information resource available for candidates and transferees is the University Relocation Program (RAP). RAP provides information about the University and the Twin Cities helping to ease individuals and families transition to the metropolitan area. RAPs services include tailored information packets, personalized assistance from the RAP staff to address specific concerns and questions, spouse/partner employment assistance, and assistance in recruitment for diversity. 64% discount on interstate moving of household goods.

48% discount on storage-in-transit. Maximum period of storage is 180 days.

Full replacement insurance (FVP) of $100,000 provided at no charge.

Contract applies to new hires, retirees, employees leaving the University, and University alumni. Moves not reimbursed by the University are on a COD basis.
